| EXPERIENCE:

Since
starting Fittz & Shipman in March 1980, has administered
structural engineering projects for the firm. Projects
during this period include the John Gray Institute, R.
C. Miller Memorial Library, First Presbyterian Church
of Port Arthur, Cherry Engineering and Dishman Art Gallery
at Lamar University, Art Museum of Southeast Texas, Holy
Family Center for Catholic Diocese of Beaumont, Entergy
Museum, Park Place Hospital Women’s Center, All
Saints Library and Middle School, Jefferson County Detention
Facility, and numerous projects for BISD including Central
High School Multi-Purpose Facility, Marshal Middle School
Additions, Nederland ISD Performing Arts Facility, and
the O.C. Taylor Career Center.
Prior to starting Fittz & Shipman, served for two
years (1978-1980) as Beaumont Office Manager and Vice-President,
Structural Design for a large Houston consulting engineering
firm. Experience primarily in reinforced concrete, steel
and timber. Supervised engineers and draftsmen and coordinated
activities with clients on such projects as Lumberton
755 Dial Building, a new Medical Office Building in
Beaumont Medical Plaza, Employers Insurance Building,
Regina Howell Elementary Additions, Bruce's Market Basket
in Groves, Washington Boulevard Bridges and the six
story First Bank & Trust Building in Groves, Texas.
From 1972 through 1978, was an associate of the same
consulting engineering firm in their Houston office,
serving as project engineer on over 45 projects. Projects
during this period include the Houston Livestock Arena
in the Astrodome Complex, Milwaukee Hilton Inn, Port
Neches Chemical Services, Sea Rim State Park.
